#MersurMuse 20 Questions

Here is an amazing interview with the one and only Tory Marsh: Internet entreprenuer, modern artist, coach and gorgeous goddess.

Tagline: "Life is more fun with more fun in it."

1. How did you hear about Mersur?

My lovely, soul sister, Sarah Shirley.

2. What was your first impression of the brand?

Fun, flirty, chic, instant vacation.

3. What is the best way to keep your energy levels up?

Fruit salad, sunshine, fresh air, dance party

4. What is your goddess routine?

I don’t know if it’s my “goddess routine” but my daily routine grounds me with myself and that’s when I feel in my ‘goddess power’... I meditate upon waking up, it’s the first thing I do. Then, I set my intention for the day before my feet even hit the floor. I spend the first morning hours connecting to my creativity which can also include a long walk or some time in nature.

How do you remind yourself that you are a goddess everyday?

By doing the work in the world that I’m here to do, living in my passions, connecting with like minded women, creating with intention, trusting in higher powers and feeling my place in the cosmos

What makes you feel like a goddess?

I’m a Libra so I love beauty, elegance, art, things that stimulate my senses… so for me, it’s a gorgeous meal, or a stunning gown, or riding a horse through the wild jungle where I feel fully engaged and free

5. What is your dream destination right now?

Right now I’m dreaming of Greece, I’ve been interested in the history and culture as long as I can remember. But, the Northern Lights and Harbor Island (pink sand beaches!!) are close on the list.

6. What was your fave vacation holiday spot and what did you like about it?

San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua I loved the raw beauty, the warm people, the jungles and beaches, the monkeys, the surf, the nighttime nature sounds, the fresh food, the lemongrass tea, the sunsets over the sea.

7. What song are you singing in the shower, playing on repeat or belting out loud to in the car?

It’s a bit sentimental, but this song that my husband made a remix for: Billie Ray Martin and Hard Ton - “Fantasy Girl / Snuff Crew Remix”

On one of our first dates my husband took me to a club in Berlin to go dancing, and the DJ recognized him (which was super cool if you’re trying to impress your date, btw) and played this track :) He sang it to me while we danced and fell in love… it was truly one of those really special moments.

8. Hot or iced?

9. What is your favorite scent?

10. How do you own your own style?

I’ve always been really inspired by clothes, but my style right now has really changed since moving from NYC to Berlin where there’s a really different vibe fashion wise. One that I’m really enjoying, it’s super laid back and makes sense to have a kind of uniform… like a simple kit of parts, rather than a giant wardrobe of gems. Which is great since I moved here with just a suitcase, it’s helping me to keep things more minimal than I’ve been in the past… it’s pretty free-ing, so when I add something new it’s truly only because I love it.

11. Do you prefer sunrise or sunset?

Depends on what coast I’m on… I love sun on water (rising or setting)

12. How do you want to feel in your clothes?

Gorgeous, comfortable, easy, timeless

13. Tell us about the work you do and why is it important to woman?

I am a coach and mentor for women leaders, and I do this because we are living in a time where women’s leadership is changing. We are ready for new role models, we are looking for more spiritual connection, personal satisfaction, to be of service to our selves and our communities, to have the relationships, career, money, integrity, and freedom we desire. To know that it’s okay and even helpful to believe in a bit of magic, to be intelligent, to have grand ambitions, and to take care of ourselves so that we may move through life with grace and ease. It’s time for women to get back to themselves, their thriving, and their innate wisdom and power in a modern way that allows them to step forward as the role model they are looking for.

14. Do you believe in mermaids?

I believe in everything.

15. How do you turn an everyday workday into an adventure?

I add some fun to it. It could be through playing with a fun outfit for my afternoon of Skype calls, or taking my laptop to an ice cream shop to make my admin work more fun, or even breaking up the day with a photoshoot or walking adventure to get inspiration and fresh perspective. It could even be trying out a new recipe I’ve found for lunch or dinner.

16. What gives you the best high?

Seeing the success of my clients, sharing their major breakthroughs and being with them as the impossible becomes their new normal. It’s amazing.

17. What is your favorite way to have fun?

I’d have to say a sort of tie between going on a spontaneous adventure, or curling up under the covers with a delicious book… total juicy supernatural fiction (I love to read books with vampires, etc. as they expand my imagination in the everyday world)

18. Fave drink?

Sparkling wine

19. Fave colour you think should be a neutral?

20. What makes you a #mersurmuse?

Haha, great question!! I think it’s that I’m so committed to living my freedom.

Thank you Tory for your time and major inspiration......we can't wait to curl up under the covers too as we are sitting in here in massive  blasting AC. Brrrrrrr.
